I have a 78' Chevy Malibu with a 350L Motor, and I need a Carburetor because mine is not functioning properly.
I am going to buy a 383 Stroker at the beginning of next year, so I was looking forward to buying a Holley Carb 650 or 670. What will be the best Carb to buy to handle the 350L & 383 Stroker, and also put out good gas mileage? Thanks! |

Re: Best Carburetor for 350/383? (Interchange)
78,
More information required. What level of tune? How much horsepower? Which is more important, power or economy? Jim |

Re: Best Carburetor for 350/383? (Interchange)
for the best amount of carb cfm it's (engine displacement) X (Max rpm) / 3456
As for the brand I think edelbrock makes a good one, maybe a 2 barrel for the torque and good gas mileage. I have no idea how good or bad a 4 barrel will do gas mileage wise. Good luck with the new engine. |
