89 944 will crank, but will not turn over.

Help, anyone out there!

Well, my car problem is intermitent, when the car starts, there is no problem. I can drive the car for for a while and it will start, then if you leave it for a while it will not start.

I know it is not my fuel pump, since it is working when I drive it (When it start), so I know that I'm getting fuel to the car.

Checked all the sparkplug cables, battery, and fuses are all ok, but I did check the ignition coil with a Digital multi-meter while someone is starting it, and there is "no" voltage coming in. Some one suggested it could be the relay, but I can't seem to find it.........(Anyone knows where the relay is)

Any suggestion is appreciated.

Thanks
Jt

The relay you are refering to is the DME relay. It is located in the outside fuse block on dirvers side cowl. I don't remember wich number it is but there is a diagram on the insde of the cover.
