an entertaining story for those who are bored

hoo boy here goes...

today i took my car out for two things; to buy new brake pads and to have jiffy lube do an oil change and tire rotation. Ok, swell; so the oil is changed, then the guys have trouble getting off the wrong size nuts on my wheel studs. So i go to advanceautoparts down the block, get the brake pads, caliper paint, brake cleaner, two sets of new nuts (they didnt ahve 4) and a c clamp and head back to jiffy. Said they would put the nuts on for free. Well the guy with the air gun goes after my wrong sized nuts and actually cracks off a stud! GREAT! So right after that, i take the car literally across the street to tire kingdom; frickin $52 to change that ONE stud, GREAT!

I get home, eat something to let the pads cool, then get to work on changing the pads... really wasn't as bad as i thought, until i got to putting the new pads in. Advance auto gave me the wrong ones, GREAT!

I go back to the shop in a buddy's car while my car is still on a jack, get the new ones, go home, and FINALLY replace the damn things in 90 degree heat. The best part is, my pads did not need changing, they were just crappy material and were squealing. GREAT! O yea, i painted the calipers red; my car is green, haha xmas car.

Then i head to work; im rushing cuz i feel like im late, and it turns out they changed the schedule and i didnt have to work for another 1.5 hrs. GREAT!

I got paid today, and i spent about half of it, almost $200.00 on everything. GREAT!

Now, TELL ME that wasnt an all too uncomfortably ridiculous day.
