Detailed my car today

Here is the process I used:

Wash car with Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo
Dry car with 200 mph leafblower
Apply Pinnacle Paintwork cleansin lotion with SFX-1 Foam pad
Buff out with microfiber cloth
Spot clay with Pinnacle clay
Buff out spots with microfiber cloth
Apply Pinnacle Advanced Swirl remover with Orange Light cutting pad
Buff out with microfiber cloth
Apply Sonus Final Finish SFX-3 with SFX-3 Foam pad
Buff out with microfiber cloth
Apply a layer of Pinnacle Souveran wax by hand
Buff out with microfiber cloth
Apply a layer Pinnacle Crystal Mist Spray wax by hand
Apply a second layer of Pinnacle Souveran wax by hand
Buff out with microfiber bonnet
Buff out with microfiber cloth
Apply Pinnacle Vinyl & Rubber protectant to convertible top
Vacuum interior
Apply Sonus Cockpit detailer to dash
Apply Pinnacle Leather Cleaner & Conditioner to seats
Apply Sonus Glass & Chrome polish to windows and miscellanous chrome pieces (like exhaust)
Apply Wheel Wax on wheels
Apply Black Magic Tire Wet on Tires

Total time: 8 hours

I still need a good sealant before applying the Souveran. I'm probably going to end up trying the Klasse High Gloss Sealant next month.

it took you 8 hours? i get that kind of shine in two and a half. and with the drought and hosepipe ban here i have to go all the water with a watering can.

No offense, seriously, no offense, but I would have lost my last job (had I not quit) if that took me more than 2 hours. I can understand trying to do the best for your car, but you are doing entirely too many steps, and just wasting alot of time. more does not equal better.
