Paper, Rock, Scissors

Ever play it? I like to use it as an impartial decision mechanism all the time. I've got my two nephews totally pegged!

Do you have a favorite? Do you tend to pick one more than the other two?

To what extent do you gauge your opponent before throwing? Sometimes I'll make them wait a sec while I stare at them, just to psyche them out... see if they'll change their minds, you know?

:what:

I tend to pick rock most often.

Here's a variation of that game:
It's called Cowboy Indian Bear

Similar idea, but more fun. You stand back to back with your opponent, and on the count of 3, each take 3 steps. Upon reaching the 3rd step, you whip around and either pose like a bear (arms over your head with fingers curled like claws, menacing look on face), a cowboy (grabs six-shooter and shoots opponent), or Indian (draws a bow & arrow).

Cowboy beats Indian
Indian beats Bear
Bear beats Cowboy

Sounds fun ci5ic, but I think this order here is..........well weird!

I guess I'm reading to much into this!

To state on-topic, I vary depending on the other players!

Yes, I do believe that guys in general have a strong tendency to throw Rock. I can feel that in myself, and is part of the reson I like to take a moment's pause before throwing.

as the hands come down hold as "rock" for as long as you can or until they are showing. Then change to a winner.

Works a few times before the opposition cottons on to what you are doing

Apparently there are several Rock Paper Scissors leagues... Here's a link to one of them that I thought was pretty funny... They even sell shirts and stuff:

Oh, and it's RoShamBo, not Roshamboule... hehehe
