front end "sweek/wine"

I have a '97 and I can't figure out where the noise is coming from. I starts wining about 15 miles an hour and goes from there. It doesn't change with braking or turning. I'm thinking it may be a wheel bearing, but I want to make sure before I put new ones in. I have about 109,000 miles on it so it could be. I've checked all of the fluid levels and all are good. I did change the xfer case fluid but that was good too. Any ideas would help. Thanks

My 98 does the same exact thing at 105,000 mi. Wish I knew what it was. I'm about to change the tires out, it kind of sounds like it is coming from there.

Re: front end "sweek/wine"

After all, it looks like the wheel bearings are bad on the passenger side. I'm changing both so I don't have to go through this again.
