Best engine oil?
What is the best engine oil for a 6 bolt stroker?
Ive heard that Royal Purple is really good? Any comments anyone? Thanks Ben

Castrol syntec Royal Purple anything else is just uncivilized

I've been running mobil 1 for 2 years now. Our Pep Boys carries Royal Purple, if I remember it was about $8 a quart.

I've heard good things about Amsoil too...
 for Mobil 1, theres a 5 quart jug in my garage waiting to go into the talon as we speak.

 Build on hold until I get a good paying job, either in school or once I get out. At that time a full tear down and complete rebuild should be in order. The Purple People Eater will ride again... January 2011 can't come soon enough.
