Squal when AC turned on

I have noticed that when I turn the ac on I get a loud squeal ,sounds like a belt slipping but the belt is ok.Turn the ac fan off and it stops,This lasts for 3-4 on-off cyles and then it stops. This only happens when I start with a cold engine and only with ac on.

Any suggestions
Thank You

Sure the belt isn't glazed? There's a spray you can use on it to make it "sticky" again. Try that.

yeah, sounds like a dry/loose/old belt. Try the spray, if that doens't fix it, check the tension, and if it has 60k or 5 years on it, replace it.
