Newbie here with some questions....

Hey guys, right now I own a 93 mustang, stock bottom end 302 with h/c/i, tremec road race spec. TKO 600 trans and built rear end...just about everything. So I know my way around cars.

I was looking to buy one of these toyota pick up's because I remember driving one and it just had a really good feel to it, hard to explain. It seems like it would be really awesome to swap a 302 into and make into a trophy truck style vehicle. I dont really like jeeps and all that, they are nice, but crawling up hills isnt really my thing. Id rather haul ass through the woods.

Im not sure about really what year truck I should be looking for and what I should expect to spend....I know these trucks are among the toughest ever built, so thats why Im interested.

Are the good for towing? I wanted to try to trailer my stang when needed, its a little rough on the highways with 4.10s and a .82 overdrive.

Also most importantly, how good are these trucks for exactly what I want to do?

Thanks everyone.
