I'm looking for a digital camera
I need to know a few things before I make a decision on which one to get. How many megapixels do I need? I will be using the camera to take close up shots of my model cars, and for every day use.
Is the Sony Cybershot any good? It has 3.34 megapixels.

3.34 will be more than enough
Preferably search for a camera with good macro function, or the ability to use common, off-the-shelf screw on lenses (I believe the Nikon 885 fits these criteria, although it emphasizes the color red too much in pics - I think there is firmware out to correct this, but please don't quote me on that). I myself have a Canon S30 Powershot with 3.34 mp. It's auto-macro mode is a bit lacking but I have found you can get some nice results in manual mode, you can't screw on lenses or filters though. |

3.34 megapixels yeah thats a lot.
i just bought a kodak i think its 2 megapixels. i hear thats enough since i'm not looken to be too professional. i just need somethin simple to point and shoot. i got the kodak because of its docking port. it recharges the batteries while loading the pics into my pc. i hear that digital cameras drain batteries and i dont wanna be buying batteries to often. just a thought |
