Tranny problem/hard shifting

97 Dodge Intrepid 3.5. Tranny shifts really hard into 4th gear/overdrive. The lighter the throttle pressure the harder the shift.

Thanx in advance.

Re: Tranny problem/hard shifting

No, I know better then that.

I guess the tranny has been doing this for awhile, since it was replaced. This is not my vehicle it is a friends and he was concerned about it. I guess the last person that owned it could have you dexron instead of ATF +3
