Scaleautostyle GT Wings

Just wanted to get peoples thoughts and opinions on this...
Its a rough - to scale - prototype of one of the GT Wings i plan on releasing, a replica of the C-West items.

The actual item will be photoetched using two different thicknesses of metal, each wing stay will be made up of a total of 15 parts (if i finally decide on having the nut detail seperate) and there will be enough parts to make 4 wings. In the current design there will be a HIGH, MEDIUM and 2 LOW sized wing stays to make up 2 SINGLE wings and 2 DOUBLE wings. The aerofoils are resin (single high wing pictured) and the idea will be for the modeler to cut them to the desired length for whatever effect they want on their model. Ive not finished designs for the endplates yet but there will be a variety. I'm thinking that price will be about £8 (why, thats £2 a wing! ).

Included in the pics above are sketches of the fret for the wing stays and how they will fit together with parts from the other fret (not shown).
Let me know what u think? Your comments and suugestions will be greatly appreciated before designs are finalised and the etching people are given the go-ahead!

Appologies again for the poor quality scanner pics - u might need to adjust you monitor for these!

Re: Scaleautostyle GT Wings

waouuuuuuuuuuu....amazing : 15 parts for a wing...

Do you will include more nuts than needed to eventually avoid loose of them ?

Chris, as i am new to AF, is there a place to see all your work ?

Cheers

GOOD Stuff!

Can't wait til September for the official release! Think you'll do the Supra hood as well? I've been dying for one of those!

Thanx 4 the comments so far people, to answer some Q's...

_835_ - Indeed there will be more nuts than needed coz they will be tiny! The other option is to have that detail on the actual part using a half-etch technique.

As for my other work i cant really show u much at the moment coz i have no digi camera - but thats another story! There has been a couple of other scanner efforts but nothing to show any real detail.

thrill me - Check the sig!

XenoKryst - The TRD hood plus all the other parts to make the F+F supra minus the wheels, decals and interior parts should be ready on the launch. The guy who is supposed to be making me the wheels has dissapeared!

mp3z24 - Left that off so u can see the shape of the aeroroil, plus i've not finished the designs for them.
