Re: How to disconnect ABS system??
First of all this was asked a while ago, and I'll give the same answer - BAD IDEA, its there for a reason, get it fixed. Second if its a '95 and up, you cannot disconnect the system, as its controlled by the PCM, which controls everything else on the truck, you can't disconnect it.

Re: How to disconnect ABS system??
I agree, bad idea, get what is causing the problem fixed and you will have a much safer truck. he has a 98 so it is controlled by the PCM. You have a bad sending unit which has caused your gas gauge to most likely malfunction which needs to be replaced and it sits on top of the fuel pump inside the gas tank I believe. Good luck

Bad sending unit most likely thats the problem with my blazer as well edit: nm just saw that it was a second gen blazer
