Leaking rear valve cover

Leak is not bad, no worse than ppl complaining about 1L oil every 3000KM. But a leak none the less.

Just tighten the bolts or do the long and hard job?

Re: Leaking rear valve cover

How many kilometers are on your Intrigue?

1 Liter every 3000km. That seems like alot. Try properly torqueing the valve cover bolts first. 89 in-lbs rings a bell.

Re: Leaking rear valve cover

Hi bnaylor

Thanks for the reply. The car has 105 000 KM.

I'll torque the cover see what happens.
