climate fan sometimes will not run
I am looking for suggestions before tearing into the dashboard. 1995 4x4 LT. I have noticed regardless of heat or AC that the fan sometimes will not run. After a few moments it will start up. Once the fans does run it runs fine. Which leads me to believe the fan speed switch is fubar. However, I also had an issue with a 1992 ford deathscort that had a fan speed board in the dash that needed replacing. Is there a similar board for the fan control in Blazers or is fan controlled directly by the rotary switch next to radio? Suggestions? Thanks Cooter

Re: climate fan sometimes will not run
same problem i have. if ur climate controls work then u may just have a bad ground somewhere. on mine, the ground on the fan itself is bad. if the fan fails to come on i pop the hood and give the housing a good wack and that turns it on
im thinking the fan is controlled through that dial and not through a board. im not positive though.

Re: climate fan sometimes will not run
It's a bad fan ground. I had to cu the ground wire on mine and put a connector onit so I could fasten it the fender wall. Been fine ever since.
