Exclamation yet another question regarding my pontiac catalina

there is another issue i have with my car. when i start my car in the morning, it starts within 2 seconds, but then the rest of the day if i havent started it for a while and ill go to start it, and will take about 10 seconds to finally start. another thing is, when i go around a turn and about halfway through the turn i step on the gas, it hesitates and it just kinda chugs along and it starts jerking a lot and the engine sounds like its going to die. then i just have to take my food off the gas and VERY slowly gradually give it gas and then i drives ok. but that doesnt happen if im stopped and i make a turn. i rebuilt the carburator and made some adjustments on it so i dont know what else it could be. if anybody could help me out with either of these problems that would be great.

Sounds more like a carberator float problem.
You sure you got that set right when you rebuilt the carb?
