longwheel base to shortweel base conversion??

hey, i own a 89' mazda b2200 longwheel base and i was wondering if it was possible to convert it into a short wheel base? and what it may take to do it. any info would be great! jiles

It would involve cutting the entire truck completly in half, sectioning it, welding the frame back together then installing new fuel and brake lines, the shorter drive shaft, and a crap load of other stuff.

You would also have to have the entire body from a regular cab short bed truck because the bed will no longer fit after you do this if it is an extended cab truck and the cab will also no longer fit. If you have a long bed you would still need to get a shortbed to go on it.

After the time, money, and effort you could buy another truck.
