My Porsche Carrera 911 (PICS!)

I just finished my yellow Porsche 911 model. It's the Testors/BBurago metal body kit. Actually, I did this model when I was about 12 or 13. Since my skills have improved a little, I decided to go back, and do the interior, since I hated the dark gray color that the interior was molded in. It took about two 1/2 weeks, because I kept messing up. I had to find out that yellow Plastikote paint does NOT go well over Testors gray primer. So, I had to repaint it with white metal primer, which was the only other primer I had at the time.

The black part of the seats were painted with a black marks-a-lot marker and a uniball inkpen. I made the seatbelts with masking tape. You might not be able to see it, but I broke the dashboard in half. Luckily, superglue can fix almost everything.

I put the rims on when I first built the model. If you're wondering what kind they are, they are from a Revell Vette AGIN concept Corvette model.

So, tell me what you think.

Thanks. I used silver paint for the seatbelt buckles. I wanted to use bare-metal foil, but I had already put the car back together, and I didn't feel like doing it again.

I've had that Lego road since I was about 6, I think. Maybe one day, I'll use it for a diorama.

It's the Testors/Bburago metal kit. If it wasn't already prepainted yellow, I probably would have painted it red or navy.

Looks pretty good. One thing i would look at is trying to tuck the wheels inside the wheel arch's.....they kinda stick out to far IMO
