starter
how hard is it to change a starter on a 92 camaro 305 tbi and it is automatic? either my starter is going out or it is my vats because some times when i go to start it when i turn the key over i just here a click and some times it will do it 2 or 3 times befor i get it to turn over. So i think it is the starter, if not it needs replaced any ways it looks like it is original.

Re: starter
keep it simple for second, check you're battery cables out.
if you do end up having to change it, you have to do some wrestling with the exhaust crossover but a little persuation with a pry bar usually get it out just fine, it's getting it back in |

Re: starter
damn, i done checked all the cables so it is either the starter or the vats. So i will probly put the starter on when i put my headers on because i will have the y pipe and all of that off any ways.

Re: starter
Yeah, its your starter. Mine did that on my 94, with the clicking whenever I turned the key. It got so bad that it would click 20-30 times before it started. The mechanism that turns the crank to start the car is worn out. Just replace the starter.
