Help! Not sure what to do.
I have a 01' Toyota Corolla LE with 103,000 miles on it. I started having a problem about a month ago with it. When I first start it and start to go it bogs down and tries to die and I usually have to give it some gas and turn everything off and it won't die. The rest of the day it runs fine but intially it does this. I don't die at red lights or stop signs and I run all electrical just fine. The check engine light just came on yesterday. I am a woman and I am afraid of being taken advantage of. I was told it could be the spark plugs but I just don't know what to do. Autozone checked it on computer but showed nothing. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

Re: Help! Not sure what to do.
could be a dirty mass airflow sensor...take it out clean it up(or replace) and that might work

Re: Help! Not sure what to do.
did the check engine light go back off
all by itself? Try adding some fuel injector cleaner into the gas tank on your next fill-up. is the Temperature guage fluctuating before the engine surges? Has the air filter element ever been replaced? Check it...the dirty side will be on the bottom. |
