hey guys im sooo close to painting and heres a couple pictures to ease the mind and check out whats happenin'! oh and i picked the colour...I'm goin with hemi orange...its pretty nice but thats all i could afford right now and it gives a nice base for a kandy colour i want....so here they are...

Sanding is a bitch.......

I put a new cat in and a 2-1 header from a 92 si..thanks Dillon!

So heres what it looks like ...2 days ago and it will be painted tomorrow. Not to bad for a 2 week overhaul eh...needed a few things like brakes and a ball joint and a bit of the frame welded but its all done and ready for the engine swap....yet to decide but am looking at the ls/vtec swap...we'll see!

I'd vote against this man. If you don't have any experience with building engines, I wouldn't get a used lsvtec.
You don't know what parts were used to build it. I'd buy it, but rebuild it myself so I knew what was in it.
If the person who put the motor together previously didn't use arp rod bolts at the very minimum, I wouldn't rev it past 7k.

Re: the 89' si is comming' along (pics)

i would go with the ls-vtec till i blew it. or i would find out what is in it first. then built the crap out of it. turbo it i think you could get easy 300hp right. but that would cost a lot for extra parts. just an idea
