My (no wide bodied) Do-Luck Supra progress

Hi all,

Like I've mentioned in Willimo's thread on his widebody Do-Luck Supra, this is my version of the Do-Luck Supra which I have been building for the past 2-3 years. I will try to complete building this for a competition thet will be held somewhere in the mid of next month.

The rear has been modified where the skirts is added and number plate area is narrowed.

The front is build using epoxy and sanded smooth. The actual front hood/bonnet is cut to make the vents.

The sideskirts is also made using epoxy and plastic sheets. From the overall picture, the Supra has been primed a few times and the shapes has been filled and sanded thus explaining the presence of white and grey primer...

Comments and criticisms are welcome.

P/S: The front lower spoiler and rear wing is yet to be added.

Well, I think I've done pretty much all that I can do onto this model as I have mentioned that all the bodykits are scratchbuild and the front bonnet/hood is cut to make a vent. The rims are also from an R34 Skyline modded to fit the Supra tyres.

I'm still not sure on the interior though.

Wow! That looks stunning. Just like the real Do-Luck body kit. Mine takes a little license because I'm not good at replicating body kits - but holy cow! Yours is spot on. I am going to love watching this one come together!

That is absolutely beautiful. I love the rear end on it. Hope to see more soon. It would be cool to see your Do luck and Will's Do luck sitting side by side at a show.

Re: My (no wide bodied) Do-Luck Supra progress

Thanks for the comments guys. Willimo, I think yours is also great and the bodykit is smooth. Mine still have some flaws to it and still some corrections needs to be done.

I still have to build the front lower spoiler, rear spoiler and rear diffuser. I'll take your advise on the attachment of the spoilers and diffusers Willimo (when I PM'ed you regarding this a few weeks/months back).

Re: My (no wide bodied) Do-Luck Supra progress

Last night I scratchbuild the speakerbox to be added on the rear of the Supra. Still need to buils an intercooler for it as well as selecting new seats for it (sorry, no pictures yet).

Any suggestions on the rims? I am thinking of just repainting the rims with darker colours (gun metal maybe) as I don't have any more available aftermarket rims.

Re: My (no wide bodied) Do-Luck Supra progress

Thanks for all the feedbacks guys. As I've mentioned yesterday, the speakerbox is already completed but the amplifier still needs to be added as I think the area is too empty.

Sorry for the dark photos...

Comments and feedbacks are welcome...

Re: My (no wide bodied) Do-Luck Supra progress

Sorry because of the lack of progress report. I've got another project that needs to be completed urgently.

I have painted a layer of white primer on Saturday and putty the visible flaws. While waiting for the putty to harden, I accidentally dropped the body and the lower lip of the Supra, the left door pillar and the side mirror broke... No pictures though but I'll show pictures as soon as I can get it photographed.

There goes my entries for this years competition... I might purchase another and make another Do-Luck Supra but I will still continue to finish this one.
