M3 & STi

Okay, this will be the last thread that i post before I go to the track because I know a lot of you won't even believe this. My mods are as follows, 3" Catback, Intake & TMIC. Check my link for pics.

M3...
2004 M3, exhaust (only known mod)
We go to some back streets with only stop signs.
Guy: "Whats up, lets run em"
Me:"Alright"
Guy: "Let's go from a 20 roll"
Me:"Alright, just go when your ready"
So we hit 20mph and he is staring at his dash and starts to rip. So I over rev in first and lose a bumper hit second, by the top of second I am even with him, by the time I shift into third and go i am a bumper ahead, then we shut down"
Me:"Okay off the line now"
Guy:"No man, you can't do that launching shit then"
Me:"Awww man comon'"
Guy:"Okay ready"
So we go and i slip the clutch at 1500 and launch like a half a car and by the time we shut down i had my car length on him.
Guy:"Thats fucked up man"
Me:"HAHA! I gotta go home man, later"
Sti Race...
I am coming home and i see an impreza that looks like an sti because it has brembos and sti stickers on the doors, but the wing and decklid is shaved. So we are on the freeway, and we are both flooring it to we hit 120 with him coming up from behind me and not gaining much ground. So we get off the freeway and he waves for me to slow down so we can hit the light. We stop and he goes. Sti Guys Mods (Exhaust is all i see)
Sti Guy:"What do you have done to that dude?"
Me:"3" Catback and Intake"
Sti Guy:"Damn that thing is fast, its not an sti right?"
Me:"Nope" (with a big grin)
Sti Guy:"This is an sti"
Me:"You wanna run em"
Sti Guy:"Yea"
I rev to about 4-5k and the light turns green he goes and i launched a second late. (Figures) We floor it to about ninety and i am car behind him the whole way.
Sti Guy:"Damn, whats your name man?"
Me:"MAXXUS (haha, didnt really say that)"
Sti Guy:"Im StiGuy, do you live around here dude?"
Me:"yep right around the corner"
Sti Guy:"Me too"
Me:"Give me your number dude"
So maybe he will be down to mob out to famoso too!! Anyways, those are my stories, one more week and i get solid times

Nice runs, fake or not(I say real, can't really picture ppl going on the net and making up race stories unless they are really conceited or messed up), its still fun to read, so good going

I would imagine it would dyno at like 218-220 something like that. Because i READ in Import Tuner they put intake and exhaust only on the TR limited and it was running about 218 at the wheels. It ran like 206 stock.

Re: M3 & STi

That is about what I thought. One would think the STi would pull a little more...but on the street, who knows.

Nice kills.
I wish I could get any races.

Re: M3 & STi

Hmm, from your car domain site it says you have an Ecutec. I believe that's a piggyback system. Considering that, i'm not at all surprised by your races (Though you can't just state exhaust and intake).

Somebody is lying about their mods To think people were giving you crap when you are running 16psi with a piggyback. Considering your mods you should be running mid to low 13's. Oh, and once again your car doesn't just have intake and exhaust

Haha, yea but seriously, see how it says future mods. I haven't done those things yet. I am just running TMIC, Exhaust, and Intake. I can't even run 16psi until i install my uppipe. And ecutek wouldnt be a piggy-back, it would be a re-flash because I am getting the car dyno-tuned by xs-engineering. If I was running up&down pipe with the tune I would be able to run 12's.

I see on ur car domain that u're planning on getting a turbo timer, that's a complete waste of money for your car, u know that right?

But judgin on ur current mod list and the pics of ur suburb, money is obvously not a factor for you hahahaha.

hahaha, i didn't wanna be the first to say.

Also, you outlaunched an M3 at 1500revs? I can barely out launch a toyota camry at 1500rpm....and that's in normal traffic when no one is racing...our imprezas are too heavy to beat anything at 1500revs.

Re: M3 & STi

ok all this fast talk about the 06 wrx makes me want to go test one out....I think I might go and do that on my lunch since the subby stealership is two stealerships down from my work anyways....I mean damn I test drove last years model it it was the biggest dissapointment ever.... the cobalt ss's on our lot were faster than that.....did they make them that much faster this year...I mean sti's cant even beat E46 m3's on a roll....so you mean the 06 wrx's are faster than the 05 sti's....or is your car just talented...
