Dont be an asshole, why not just help him out?

For a v6, luckily theres a nice aftermarket for the 3.8.. mods you want to do is intake, exhaust, if its an automatic you can go with a shiftkit and torque converter, you can also get a different rear end with 3.73 or 4.10 gears.. and just continue on from there.

a lot of times ppl dont even respond to these threads anymore, and rather than wait for answers to come in, the information he is looking for is already out there. if you think that's being an asshole then it looks like you've got some growing up to do.

Re: mods for v6

Wow Rally, is that how you are going to work hand in hand with our merging f-body cousins?

Honestly he does make a valid point. How many times does the question need to be asked: Will a 350 bolt up where my 305 was, can I put a v8 in place of a v6 yadda yadda...............

Now, let's face it, the Camaro did a little better in popularity vs. the 'bird thus we may be a little more offering to a fellow struggling 'maro owner, or trying not to think about your own problem But, what he said is kind of valid, got search?

Re: mods for v6

Eh.. they are a dying breed.. but the thing is.. questions get asked multiple times and you might as well as go ahead and tell em in the thread what they want to hear not just "Go do a search" because if you search for mod for v6 you'll probably get alot of threads popping up or none at all because v6 is a 2 letter thing and the search engine looks for 3 letter or more.

Re: mods for v6

I'm going to have to agree with Rally, it's easier to just ask because searches are so vague a lot of times. I know I've seen the answers before for some of the questions I've asked but could not find them when I tried searching. I'd agree with Rally on mods too, intake, exhaust, gears or stall first. After that go heads/cam or whatever, I've seen some good numbers with a good heads and cam combo on a 3.8.

Re: mods for v6

Now I did not say the "go do a search" is the end all be all answer. Heck, search my posts, I know a few times I would generally answer the question, then suggest a search on the matter for a ton of info.

I am firmly disagreeing with the response of "don't be an asshole" is what I'm saying.

Re: mods for v6

you should post a sticky with all that you can do to the 3.8L so then you can just tell them to look there for help - it'd be easier. and then specific questions about different parts could be brought up in the forum after reading the sticky.

If a 3.8 mod sticky is "in the works" why the hell haven't I been told?
