Driving With only front driveshaft

The rear differential in my truck is blown and somebody said i could probably just remove the rear driveshaft and driving it short distances would be ok like that...

Just wanted to know what some other people thought before i tried it

1st if is really bad ( the rear diff) it could lock just turning, so careful here, second you will loose fluid out of the tailshaft if driving any distance.
