steering click

hey, my 90 crx has been clicking when i steer past 30 degrees. the click is constant and stops when i drive straight or turn slightly. any thoughts... thanks!

yup its cv's..its happened to every crx ive had. if you want you can just get new axles and youll be fine. when i pulled my old ones from the tranny i laughed because the boot was just gone lol this thing has definately taken a good beating. that click was so annoying and im glad it will finally be gone

yeah thats what i was figuring just wonted to make sure..........so the cv joints were a common problem in crx's?

Im thinking your joints are gone, not just the boot...its really wise to replace the whole thing, youll be glad you did, I wish I did when mine locked on me at 115mph...I thought it would be ok just to put a new boot on it..It was bad when I bought the car and I didnt know it though, boot wasnt bad, but I repaired it myself.
