Thinking of Buying an LS

Hey guys, I'm looking at getting a 2000 Lincoln LS. Found it on Craigslist.com.

http://boston.craigslist.org/car/169023725.html

What should I look for? What kinda of things should I check? Thanks a lot.

Re: Thinking of Buying an LS

just got mine a few weeks ago. make sure that it is shifting fine. make sure that all the windows go up and down fine. check under the engine cover (easy to remove) to make sure that the valve cover gaskets arent leaking. that is the biggest problem with the 00 ls. Oil leaks into the coils and spark plugs and causes misfires. i bought mine with that problem and it ran me $300 to fix. other than that, look for moisture in the headlights and fog lights. good luck

I also agree, plus check for rust underneath the rubber above the rear wheels.
