What a BUST!

Well my day sucked...

It turns out there is not one damn vtec engine in any junkyard withing 30 miles of me, and there are 4 junkyards...wtf, I only managed to find a vtec-E that I couldnt see because it was a pull on request place...Long story short, I need a knock sensor....does anyone have one?

Oh and take a look at what I saw actually driving down the road...Hoo Rah for no Vehicle inspections eh?

Re: What a BUST!

lol, I thought that was your block too, especially with the title of the thread. I need to get to a junkyard soon, maybe I'll try to con my friend into going with me this weekend. Need to get a window crank (broke mine off one night and am currently messing up my threads with plyers), both driver's side taillights, and a manual driver's side mirror.

I lost the ringlet that goes in the notch to hold my crank back on when I took the door panel off to put the window back in place. Super glue works to keep the crank on the turning bolt. It doesn't look so bad either except for a little bit of glue that ran down on the plastic and stained.

Re: What a BUST!

Dude, go to the junkyard..i was afraid id lose some, so I just pulled about 6 of the little bastards, I was sick of my crank falling off, I also picked up the little disc that goes behind it. Ah how I love the pick n' steal..

Re: What a BUST!

luckily I found that little clip on the floor of my car and didn't lose it in my friend's driveway (that is all gravel). But I did however lose that plastic disk. The sad thing is that I know a few people who have changed from manual to power windows, but they all threw away their old parts...bastards.
