Completed Tamiya 1/12 Honda RC211v

It's been a while for me since posting anything new here. This is the Tamiya kit built from the box. It's the brightest colored model in my display case now...

The kit goes together very well as would be expected from Tamiya. I used Pactra R/C spray paints over tamiya white primer, cleared with tamiya clear then polished. Other than a few decal blemishes I'm happy with the result.

Amazing work on the decals.Overall a really nice bike model.I particularly like your treatment of the front fork area,it looks like it has a texture on the grey areas next to the calipers.How did you do that was it some special paint?

Steve, I painted those parts with a spray paint made by Plisti-Kote, it's called Rebuilders Cast Finish #285 Cast Gray. Sprayed from the can, it does leave a little bit of texture to the part to give it a cast look.
