Good engine is STL, MO area
My neighbor has a '96 Lumina APV with a great running 3.4L in it, 125,000 miles, no noises or oil usage, no leaks. Tranny has lost 3rd-4th gears, will shift into them at times, but will drop out randomly. I suspect a solenoid or valve body issue.
He wants to sell it soon, it's really not a bad vehicle...only minor body scuffs...but I know that motor is worth twice what he's asking. If I had the time and place, I'd do a swap for my 3.1!
He wants $700 OBO. Let me know if you could use it...
