1997 dodge ram 4X4

I took a 1997 ram 4x4 for a test drive and when I put in 4 wheel drive and started driving it was like the wheels were binding up. I was on dry pavement When I made a turn it was even worse. Is this normal on dry pavement, or should I stay away.

Thanks Chris

Your not supposed to drive on dry pavement in four wheel drive. Its a normal occurance when turning anytime.
