Am lookeing for an A4 questions
I am planning on working as much as humanly possible through the summer so that I can get myself in an audi a4. I have been reading a little here and it has helped but I would like some more specific answers. I started off wanting a v6 but I learned that there really isnt that much out there performance wise and with a 1.8t I can alwaise IE and bigger turbo it with a chip and have a mighty fast car. I would like to know what year's I should stay away from and what type of problem's I should ask about when shopping around. Timing belt, oil pump are a couple of things I've read here. I was looking at a 98 v6 because the price was right but then I came here and with what I want out of my Audi the V6 wont deliver. I noticed that the 1.8's are more expensive than the v6's and that cought me off guard a little. I drive a 92 integra with IHE and some handling parts and I'm just done with the whole honda thing and I have only had it a coulple of months. A friend has an S4 and I would love to beat her in a 1.8. the S4 is a wicked fast car well its the fastest car I have driven, another friend has a jetta gli turbo and from experences with those 2 cars I know I love german cars. IMO the A4 is the best looking car on the road, better than porsches. With the S4 in her manual there was a card talking about how the dealership fixed an "oil splurge" problem, but I didnt see that anywhere here, has onyone heard of that and if so what is it and what years and all that fun stuff. I know alot of this has been asked before and I really appreciate your help, I hope to be in an Audi asap.
