i have a 2001 grandam gt, what kind of intake do you all recommend?? cold air ?? brand??

A good filter.

Personally...I think the stock system is fine. Unless you feel the need to change it over to a cone filter and a box.

get the CAI from doctorspeed.com,, i think it's $190 and comes with a cone k&n filter. you'll notice a subtle performance increase and it'll growl at the higher rpm's. and if you tap the gas pedal real quick you can here it suck up air from the wheel well, kind of coo. i think stock pontiac air boxes in general are one of the more restrictive components of their cars, which is why i really need to upgrade mine..

I too would recomend the DrSpeed one, though they are expensive.
You can find them cheaper on Ebay, and with a K&N cone filter.
I just ordered one from ChromeIntakes(on Ebay), should be geting it today, I hope !
