talon69 brother will try to host the video for me ( so you guy dont have to download it ) but on the mean time, you have to download the video 9mb ( too bad for 56k ). The owner told me this is lift tick, and when he drove it around the noise is gone, the car run and drive great, no smoke , no oil leak.

Whoahh mine sounds sooo different than that.. Much higher pitched and more hollow vibrant. If someone tells me how to load a clip i will take one and post it

It would have been alot better if he braught the rpms up slow to see what the sound does (changes). From just hereing it idle that is one really loud lifter tick it thats what it is. I would ask him to have someone bring the rpms up slow while he is outside recording it to see how much the sound changes or goes away. I would have him flutter the gas a litle also, i just wanna see how the tick noise does doing these procedures.
It does not sound like a low enough knock to me to be the bottom end, like i said to verify this have him flutter the gas and bring them rpms up. Remember your buying this car so he should not have any problems doing this for you.

It's too high pitched of a noise to be rod knock. Rod knock would consistently get louder and louder and then your rod would eventually break if that was the case. Sounds like a WICKED case of lifter tick to me.

While I agree that doesn't sound like rod knock.
It does sound like some mean lifter tick. My lifter tick was much higher than that and while it was loud it wasn't that loud.
