90 MPV Check Engine

I know it is time for the stupid light to come on, it came on at 240,000. I know it means check the emissions equipment. Does anyone know how to turn it off? It is a closely guarded secret so the Mazda people can get some of our hard earned money, but I don't see it with one at 240 thou.
By the way, I love this van. It is a stick and most people cannot believe it.
It has the 4 cyl engine in case that makes any difference.

Re: 90 MPV Check Engine

Congratulations on getting all those miles!

Here's some info:

Apparently you need to change the oxygen sensor to keep everything on the uppity-up.

Thumbs up Re: 90 MPV Check Engine

Great information! I didn't realise Auto Zone had that type of info. I haven't got my van running yet, but it seems like it would be a nice truck. I printed that reset info just in case. I bought the van earlier this week, it's got 140k on the odo. Good to hear that some one has 200+ on one.

Thanks Mike
