Valve advice needed
I just bought a 1990 gsx awd 4g63 N/A. bought it for $300 knowing it needed a timing belt tensioner and valves. i am looking for some good aftermarket valves. otherwise it will cost me $10 a piece for the intake side and $15 a piece for the exhaust side. and help would be appreciated.

Re: Valve advice needed
good buy! when are you gunna turbo it??
as far as valves go, i don't know, but since your car is the same as an n/t eclipse, i may ask them if you would. they do make stuff for the 4g63n/t that may not show up when you search "galant"

Re: Valve advice needed
well as of now i haven't found a turbo kit. you seem to know alot about them. will a factory turbo setup from a eclipse or a vr4 work on that car?

Re: Valve advice needed
sure would, you do need to wire a knock sensor, and use an mbc to limit boost to 8psi since that is all the motor can hold.
it is the exact same process as turbocharging a n/t eclipse as well, so if you find the guide on dsmtuners to that. it would help a good deal. also... galant exhausts are longer, though a cat-back for a 1g will bolt up.
