Re: Service Vehicle soon Light
The service engine light indicates simply what it says, a problem with the engine....it may also indicate an emissions problem as well, such as a bad O2 sensor, but im not 100% sure of that one.
the service vehicle light indicates a problem with something not engine related, such as the ABS system or something of that nature, typically if its an ABS problem you will also have a ABS and Trac Off light in conjunction with the SVS light. did you have a problem or were you just curious? |

Re: Service Vehicle soon Light
yeah I do have my service vehicle soon light, ABS, and trac off lights all on. They came on the other day for a few minutes and when i shut the car off and turned it back on they went out. But now they are on and stay on. I also have a problem with the car starting so I was just wondering if it had anything to do with that. Also if i get it scanned will trouble codes come up with this light.

Re: Service Vehicle soon Light
It sounds like a disconnected or bad wheelspeed sensor. Get it scanned to find out exactly (if it is a wheelspeed sensor, the scan will tell you which one).

Re: Service Vehicle soon Light
My service engine soon light is on because of a bad fuel pump. My service vehicle soon light comes on after I hit hard bumps due to bad wheel bearings / speed sensors up front. I get the ABS, low trac lights as you do.
Oddly enough, the ABS, Low-trac lights seem to trip less in humid / rainy days. Any thoughts |
