Coolant Sensor Bad Message

I got a warning message on my 96 jgc Laredo (I6) that said 'Coolant Sensor Bad' it blinked twice and went away. This happened right when I started the jeep, I've started it a dozen times since and no error message?

Re: Coolant Sensor Bad Message

I hope you're luckier than me. The same thing happened to me but it come on more and more. Now it's on most of the time. I have a 98 Limited 5.2L.
I replaced the sensor by the thermostat housing. Still came on.... Replaced the Coolant Sensor (in the resevoir)... Still comes on. I figure at this point it could be the wiring, hopefully not the PCM.

When I figure it out I'll post an update

Dave
