Was heading out to dinner last night. Perfect night out, so my girl and I took the T/A out. Weren't going far...maybe 3-4 miles to Outback.

As I was heading south on a local 4 lane street, I see a decent looking black car behind me. Now, I really don't follow Mopars new line-up all that much, so I wasn't sure what it was at first. I knew it was either the 300 or the Magnum.
There is plenty of traffic, and this guy is driving a little like an ass. I think he was trying to show off or he actually wanted to race. Not sure, doesn't matter.
We passed each other a couple times and I got to notice the temp. tags on it. Brand new. Owner felt as though he needed to prove he bought a fast car I guess. Boy did he ever pick the wrong F-Body.
So, we get to about a 1/4 mile before my turn off for dinner and we caught a red light. I was stuck behind him. Light goes green.....


He chirps the tires so I know he is going for it. Since he was on it, it freed up a lane for me. But not before having to short shift 1st. Shifted around 4000 while RIGHT on his ass.
Hit second as I was switching lanes. Sent the rear swinging out a little.
Walked by him. By walked, I mean blasted.
Then proceeded to make my turn.

I wish I would have had more room to really get this guy. I hate cocky drivers like that.

I need to find some actual competition. That 2002 Z06 was a car behind after 1st gear so we both backed off. Maybe a Z06 on a 100 shot.
Or the new Z06. That would be a TON of fun!!!

Good kill. Some of those mopar guys that own the 300C/Charger/Magnum can be somewhat rude. I think those commercials made them feel that entitled.

I'm not at all surprised by the outcome.

Now Luos, after that 12 bolt rearend you are putting in, mayhaps I can convince you to buy some nitrous

No he has a 402 iron block w/heads/cam, and full bolt ons. He's got alot of naturally aspirated power, but will have alot more power if he opts for the nitrous, which will actually make up for atmospheric conditions Luos (Meaning your high altitude).

this whole time I thought he was squeezing....hmmmm ok....well since he does have a n/a set up it wouldnt be that much more work to set him up for the bottle.....I would have went the FI route but thats just me....

Nice run!! I had a run in with a 300C SRT-8 a few weeks ago while I was driving the GT-S around. He only pulled 2 cars on me. I was disappointed considering it has a 250+hp advantage. Those cars are pigs.
