Cool re-curbsiding an RX7 GT.

Hey guys!
Last time i did something in this RX7 was a damn!! If you search in the forums you will find what i done to it..
I cutted both doors,to make it "tunnahstyle",but i damned it up.The model were too fine,and...The structure were altered, than the model were broken in half. DAMN! As the things goes like this,at the 44:59 of the second half,i decided to not trash it .Re-curbside it,like it was before...

Until now, just great. I have put an bended paperclip in the side to make the structure stronger:
Hehehe,i loved doing this damn thing!

and now, with the structure stronger and the putty completely cured i sanded it a lot,i mean,A LOT!

Next step is...Fit the new glass! Since the old one broked up...Oh gosh what have i done...

new glass fitted:

I cutted the new glass from...here!:

From now on,the left door is being fitted!
Post your opinion!!
See you guys later!

Re: re-curbsiding an RX7 GT.

You have done well with the front windscreen, I thought you purchased a spare part for it. With a little careful work, this will turnout to be a good looking model.

Re: re-curbsiding an RX7 GT.

Yea, with some time this will be looking great. I have been working on and off on my G35 for almost two years, I am getting frustrated but I know I'll feel better when I see the finished product if i just give it some time and patience.
I applaud the work on your front windshield. It looks great. I never would have thought you replaced the old one from the pics.

Re: re-curbsiding an RX7 GT.

Why not just use Mr. Surfacer? I've been using Mr. Surfacer as my primer for a while, and I have no complaints. (I'm in Japan as well)

Talking Re: re-curbsiding an RX7 GT.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee People!!! Finally updates!
I know, really, this project won't turn out nice, because it missed the door lines. Well,I think the driver will need to enter by the window
So,here it comes, the think primered! (sorry about the rear lamp,in order to finish it,i forgot that the chassis and the lights were puttied and glued on the ride, that pissed me off, but,it's the best I coud do with the model like this.)

BTW,sorry 56k.
