lots of e30 parts

good running 2.5 L "i" motor. Removed from wrecked (rear end) '89 325i w/ 170K. Just cleaned and painted. new timing belt, tensioner, water pump, oil seals, valve cover gasket, and oil pan gasket. It has the newer style torx head bolts already installed.

3.73 LSD

5-speed swap kit

Various other parts from three '89 "i" cars, and one '85 "e".

Re: lots of e30 parts

Reggie,
How much are you needing for the engine? Is this the same one that's in the 93 325i? I always like to have a spare in the garage just in case.

Re: lots of e30 parts

Unless you have a convertible, I doubt it is the same.

in '92 BMW revamped their 3-series to the "e36" bodystyle, and at that time they went from the SOHC 2.5L M20 engine to the DOHC 2.5L M50.

They did run the e30 bodied convertible with an M20 engine into '93.

So, is your car a convertible?

850 obo for the longblock assembly (head and bottom end with all of the new parts mentioned above already installed)

I can e-mail you photos if you wish.

Re: lots of e30 parts

I would like to get some pix. I will also cross reference the part #. Where are you located? I will get an offer to you if I find it to be a good match. Mark

Re: lots of e30 parts

I sent you an e-mail through the forum. I'll need your actual e-mail address to send photos.

I'm in Indiana.

It looks like you're in NY, so I'll work on a freight quote.

Thanks!

Re: lots of e30 parts

Depending on whether you want the engine shipped to your home, business, or a terminal, I can get it to your zip code in NY for $250-$300.

I just put the engine on eBay, so you can see photos here:

It looks good. Where in Indiana are you I may like to take a drive. If you would let me in on the reserve price I may be able to talk my wife into it. Mark
