building a bed frame

i got a new bed and right now it is on one of those little metal frames that comes with the bed. i want to build a bed frame for me, a nice one. i know it will cost some money but i would like to have it for a while. i've been looking at some pictures on the web and stuff. I was wondering if anyone knew of any sites i could visit to get some dimensions and ideas on what all i need? any kind of help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Re: building a bed frame

dude, just go to ikea and be done with it. I got mine for $150 (a queen) and it looks good. It's made out of pressboard, but it is still pretty heavy and sturdy.
