97 suburban -- timing chain lifetime?
Hi everyone,
I was just wondering how many kilometers (miles) the timing chain is good for in a 1997 5.7-v8 suburban. Thanks! |

Re: 97 suburban -- timing chain lifetime?
Are there any warning signs that I should be looking out for?
Currently the engine is running great and it has 330,000 km on it. Oil has been changed at regular intervals throughout its lifetime. |

If it loses compression or quits running you might check it out. MT
