Reference photos for your Ferrari F430 Challenge

Anxiously awaiting my HLJ order w/the F430 Challenge car, I found some decent press photos of the car.

You can snag the full res pics in my album:

That definitely is an eye catcher. I like the white headlights, it sets off the car nicely.
Look forward to seeing some of the builds for this.
I'm just going to wait and see what the Miami Vice movie uses for an F430 and build that. Gotta fit in with my other MV cars...

Re: Reference photos for your Ferrari F430 Challenge

I wish I had spent more time looking at the 1:1 at Amelia Island, didn't expect this kit from Fujimi. Wish Tamiya had done the same variation for the 360 Modena

I want to know how many air jacks are on the car; the picture looks odd as it appears there might be a missing jack, or the rear jack is one central unit at the very back of the car. Optical illusion??

This model can keep some of the decal makers very happy.

1 in the rear center and 2 in the front, kinda like a triangle.
Also I wonder when Ferrari is gonna comeout with the Challenge Stradale.

Thanks. Ferrari will probably add a Challenge Stradale or whatever they want to call it when there's a lull in demand for the car, they don't want to play all their cards so early in the F430's life. If anything they'll do it in the last year or two of production to keep interest alive.

Oh yes you do! Fujimi is drawing you to the dark side. You know you can't fight it

Notice the distinct lack of a new Honda Civic from them.

Though I do hope they do the new Euro Type R.

That's so freakin' hot too.

I'm surprised they haven't already; I'd build one. I have a Tomica Prius in 1/64-ish scale.

It would be interesting..I'd build two--a stock one, and a tuner with F&F style gorp on it..

Re: Reference photos for your Ferrari F430 Challenge

Just saw one racing here in Australia. Spent quite a bit of time talking to the driver and got plenty of pics of the exterior so I can do the decals. Will put some up here later on. Didn't get any of the engine bay. I will email the owner / driver to see if he can send me some of the interior and engine

Re: Reference photos for your Ferrari F430 Challenge

I live down the street from one of the biggest ferrari dealships (they have 0001 serial # F50 signed by M Shumacher). When I was there the other day they were taking delivery of 4 challange stradale's. Look at the keys on the dash.....very tempting. Here are some pic's I took
