Oil Clean Up
My car decided that, after I tinkered with the oil pressure switch, to spew out about 2/3 of its oil. Luckily the car was at home and I noticed it last night. So I just replaced the switch today (sounds easy but pissed me off), but now I have lots of oil on my driveway. Any tips to clean most of it up? I wiped up some of it with newspaper. Any other ideas?

Re: Oil Clean Up
cat litter or saw dust will soak up most of it then use a degreaser to wash down the rest

Re: Oil Clean Up
yea, we use saw dust in auto class when we spill stuff, then if it leaves a spot we use gojo and it comes right up.

Re: Oil Clean Up
I put turpentine on the oil spot rub it in then light it.. Burns the oil out, do a small section at a time and use Common Sense.. Cleans it right up. I used to live in california in a housing addition that wwas completely anal about having stains on the driveway "becuase it hurts everyone's propety value."
