Re: Video of my Subs

looks like it pounds pretty hard too for a first system with entry level subs...

getting some decent movement out of them looks like...but nothing compared to 2.25" P2P on an 18" cone

anyway, looks boobies

Re: Video of my Subs

Those hatches are heavy as shit for some sheet metal and a piece of glass. Not bad, i might have to post a vid of my shitty polks. Not bad for subs from 10 years ago and 150rms total.

Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota.

I've only got about 1.75" movement P2P (on an 8" though...)

Nice first system too.

Re: Video of my Subs

does it sound like that?
i mean does your bass block out your mids at highs?
mine dosnt do that, and mine hits hard as hell too!
or is it just the video, cuz i have my mids and highs amped.
btw it looks great

Re: Video of my Subs

yeah speaking of not being able to see threw your rearview mirror. with my old setup that i just sold. i had a 12inch pheonix gold TITANIUM and a 350 watt mono block alpine. it actually broke two of my rearview mirrors off. it has the auto dimmer so there 50 dollar mirrors. i just gave up on having one now. seens how im about to hook up my 15 there no chance they will last.

Re: Video of my Subs

Yeah, you tend to go a little overboard on your first system. Soon, you'll be doing a little bit more tweaking to try and blend the bass in with the mids and highs. You'll be tweaking the gain, the low pass filter, the bass boost, and then the equalizer on your stereo until you get it just right. It may take you a month or two before you get it right. It may sound awesome with one song. Then you put in another song and you'll go "Hey, this sounds like shit." So you'll have to compromise a little and make that song sound better. You'll probably go through 10 or 20 songs before you get the sound perfect to your liking for any type of music.
