Towing
Anyone out there own a late model Sequoia and tow trailers with it? If so what are you pulling? How big of a travel trailer will it handle?
Thanks

Re: Towing
Ive got an 01 4WD Limited, and we have towed about 6500lb from Omaha Nebraska to Mongomery Alabama no problem. It has a little trouble doing 80mph, but I guess thats plenty fast when you are pullin that much weight. It also drives great in elevation under towing. We pulled about 4000lb up in Colorado over the summers, at about 10-12K feet....works like a dream.

Re: Towing
Thanks for the info, Still trying to decide on 07 Tahoe/Yukon, Sequioa, 3/4 ton 07 Suburban or even an 06 Chevy HD 2500 Duramax Quad cab. Know it's all over the board, but plan to keep it for a while and put a lot of miles on.

Re: Towing
Well, if you plan on packin on the miles I would go with the Sequoia. Ive got close to 150-160K miles on mine and it still runs like brand new. All I have had to do to it is change the oil, belts, and recently I found I could use some new shocks.....but thats it. It's a great ride, not the most powerful compared to the competition....but definately the best built, and longest lasting (and classy).

Re: Towing
Cool! Thanks again. Once I get moved to Michigan, I will be checking one out and test driving them all. I like what I read in Consumer Reports about the Sequioa compared to the others.
