1977 Canceling Cam replacement
I am going to replace my canceling cam however I have not found in my manuals where the exact location of it is. Any help is appreciated.

I have had a 77 Corvette fo r 18 years and I don't even know what a canceling cam Is, what does it do?

A canceling cam is what causes your turn signal to stop after your rotation of the steering wheel.

Oh Kay! That sounds like a can of worms getting into the steering column, Yikes! I’ll look through my repair manuals to see if I can find anything that may help. If I do I’ll scan and send you what I find. Good luck!

I ended up finding it in my manual, just didn't look close enough. Ordered the part and took the steering wheel off and put the new cam in and it works now. about an hour if that.

I have the service manual showing a breakdown of the steering column. I can e-mail the pics or fax them to you if you would like.
