1991 SSE power steering

Can I bypass the leaking power steering cooler on my Bonneville without any ill effects? I have 110000 miles on the car .I bought this car new and have had very few minor problems . If I need to replace it where can I get it in my area (N.E. Ohio). Thanks for your help.

I've done it many times, with no ill effects. I never understood why they put them on these cars in the first place. Make sure you use high pressure hose and double clamp both ends.
