Muffler Help

Hey I have a 99 GA SE with a 2.4 twin cam. I wanna give my car alittle zest, so i want to but a muffler for it to give it some rumble. What brand, Kind, type of muffler should i buy for my car to make it sound good?

I have a carbon fiber Ractive muffler. It gives a nice low rumble and not that high pitched "dirt bike" sound that i hate so much.

what I did was hack saw the muffler out, then take out the resonator after the flange (leave some piping left for clamps.... and I bought a $20 straight pipe muffler and stuck it where my resonator is... its Def. louder ...

Think my brand of straight pipe is a holley red hots muffler ... ordered it through auto zone....

You really gotta do some research before you go cutting any piping...

thats my cheap solution but I plan on changing it sometime this year...

I dont really know any cat-back mufflers that you could buy for your size of engine
